Abstract

Article is an attempt to show, how the teacher of Polish language can discuss interesting contemporary books during lessons with students. The author describes how the students see the book written by Monika Sznajderman “Falsifiers of pepper”. She described her classes when students were working with essays of Roland Barthes and Wojciech Nowicki about photography, to deepen the reception of family story, which is shown by Monika Sznajderman in her work. The presented academic classes have become the starting point for student educational projects.
