The reviewer should register/log in on the journal’s site.
We inform, that texts sent by authors to the editorial office undergo preliminary verification by the editors in terms of formality (fulfillment of the technical and editorial requirements) and substantive level (compatibility with the magazine’s profile).
Initially approved scientific articles are next sent for further substantive review to two independent outside reviewers, selected from among specialists in the discipline which is the subject of the publication.
The review process is confidential (standard double-blind review), the authors of the articles and the reviewers don’t know each other’s identities. The list of reviewers working with the magazine is available on its website, as well as in the printed version of the yearbook.
The reviewers review the manuscripts in a specific review form.
The review form is available after logging in as a reviewer.
The reviews are written. In their judgement, the reviewer takes into account the originality and the substantive value of the article, it’s form (composition, language), quality of sources used, scientific reliability, they may also suggest the classification of the article as part of a certain category of scientific texts.
Any comments, corrections and suggestions of possible changes are placed by the reviewer in the review form in a way that allows the author to familiarize themselves with them and consider them in the final version of the text.
The reviewers decide on: publishing the article without any changes, publishing the article with the suggestion of small changes in the text, repeated review of the article after making essential changes in the text as suggested by the reviewer, or the rejection of the article (when the reviewer’s opinion is clearly negative). The review ends with a conclusion and a clear call for admitting or not admitting the article for publication.
Authors are asked to take the reviewers’ comments into account (by either accepting or discussing them) and send the final version of the article for print before a given deadline.
The condition for an article to be accepted for publication is to obtain two positive reviews and to prepare the final version of the article for publication. In the case of a significant discrepancy between the reviews, the editorial board can call for a third reviewer.
Articles are checked for plagiarism before publication.
