Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are asked to check whether the text meets the following criteria. Texts that do not meet the editorial requirements may be rejected.
• The text you submit is the result of your own creation and does not infringe the copyrights of others; in particular the work has not been published before.
• The publication text is written in the basic style in Microsoft Word (LibreOffice) and saved in the following formats: doc., docx, odt.
• The text of the publication is in Times New Roman font (12 points), 1.5 line spacing (with longer quotations: Times New Roman 10 and 1.0 line spacing). Graphic objects (diagrams, charts) are placed in separate files, and their place is marked in the text (for example: illustration 1, table 2). Sources and copyrights are given with the illustrative materials. Text volume max. 40,000 characters with spaces (together with bibliography, abstract and keywords)
• The text meets the requirements set out by the editors regarding bibliography and footnotes.
• The author familiarized himself with the procedures of reviewing texts applicable in the journal.

Privacy Statement

The editorial team of the scientific journal 'Studia ad Didacticam' respect the principle of confidentiality, which means that it does not disclose to unauthorized persons any information about the authors, reviewers or persons who have registered on the pages of the journal to use the newsletter service. Persons authorized to have the abovementioned information is: editors and publisher.

Information on the processing of personal data of the Author / Authors

Based on Article. 13 (or / and) 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Journal of Laws EU L.2016.119.1 of 04.05.2016

  1. Personal Data Administrator:

The Administrator of Personal Data of the Author / Authors / Reviewers is Pedagogical University of Krakow (ul. Podchorążych 2, 30-084 Kraków, website: www.up.krakow.pl). The Personal Data Administrator can be contacted via the e-mail address: info@up.krakow.pl or in writing to the correspondence address indicated in the first sentence.

  1. Data Protection Officer:

Author / Authors / Reviewers may contact the Data Protection Officer appointed by the Administrator in matters concerning processing of personal data, exercising rights regarding the processing of personal data by writing to the electronic address iod@up.krakow.pl, or the Data Administrator's address indicated in point I.

  1. The purposes of processing personal data:

The university processes personal data in order to prepare and implement the publishing agreement in accordance with art. 6 clause 1 b) of the Regulation (EU), in particular:

  • reacting to information sent to the Publisher using the contact form / email,

  • implementation of the publishing process related to the publication of the Author / Authors' work,

  • publication of the name, surname, degree or academic title and affiliation of the Author / Authors,

  • sharing data with other entities related to the publishing process, to databases and other information, promotional and scientific portals,

  • sending original numbers of printed works.

Providing your personal data is a condition for the performance of the contract, order, publication of the work of your authorship / co-authorship or where you acted as Reviewer / Editor / Member of the Scientific Council. You are obliged to provide them, and the consequence of not providing personal data will be the Publisher's refusal to publish or accept the article / review.

  1. Recipients of personal data:

The collected personal data may be made available to public entities and bodies authorized to process personal data based on the provisions of generally applicable law and entities processing personal data at the request of the administrator in connection with the task entrusted to them.

  1. Period of storage of personal data of the Author / Authors:

Personal data collected on the basis of art. 6 paragraph 1 b) Regulations (EU), i.e. they will be processed for a maximum of 50 years from the date of signing the contract.

  1. Rights of data subjects:

Author / Authors have the right to:

  • access to your data (information about data processed by the Administrator), including obtaining a copy of the data. The law will be implemented to the extent technically and legally possible,

  • correction (correction of data when it is inconsistent with the actual state),

  • delete or limit data processing in cases provided for by law.

The collected personal data is not subject to automated decision making, including profiling.

  1. Supervisory authority regarding personal data:

The supervisory body in the field of personal data is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. The Author / Authors, if it is considered that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the Regulation, has the right to lodge a complaint to the abovementioned supervisory authority.
